CDL-A Driver - Trainee - Paid Mentor Training Program

About The Position
This is a trainee position for a refrigerated-freight fleet. New CDL holders and people with military experience are welcome. Drivers complete 4 to 6 weeks of paid training with an experienced driver at $650 per week, then receive a guaranteed $1,000 per week for their first 3 months driving solo. Average weekly pay is around $1,200 to $1,400, with a monthly performance bonus. The fleet carries refrigerated loads, averaging about 2,100 miles per week, with live loading and unloading. Drivers get home every two weeks. The fleet uses late-model Freightliners.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Hold a valid Class A CDL.
- Have completed at least 120 hours of CDL school.
- Military experience may be considered with a valid DD214.
- Experienced drivers must have 6 months of OTR experience in the last 12 months or 12 months in the last 5 years.
- Have no more than 2 moving violations in 2 years and no serious violations in the last 12 months.
- Have no major preventable accidents in the last 5 years.
- Have no DUI/DWI within 5 to 10 years, depending on CDL date.
- Pass hair and urine drug tests.
- Provide 3 years of verifiable employment.
Responsibilities

- Participate in 4 to 6 weeks of paid training with an experienced driver.
