About The Position

Gordon Food Service is hiring a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver for local delivery routes based out of 525 N State St, York, Pennsylvania. The driver delivers food products to customers such as restaurants, schools, hospitals, and universities while building customer relationships. Routes are local, and drivers are home every day. Newly licensed drivers are encouraged to apply. The schedule is five days per week between Monday and Saturday, with start times between 3:00 AM and 5:00 AM and work continuing until the route is finished. Drivers unload cases weighing up to 100 pounds and use a ramp and two-wheeler during their shifts. Pay includes daily base pay and component pay for miles driven, stops made, and cases delivered, with a guaranteed minimum of $1,200–$1,500 weekly.

Requirements

At least 21 years of age.
Class A CDL license at hire.
Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds.
Successfully pass a drug test, including screening for marijuana, and a background check.
Clean driving record that meets DOT and Gordon Food Service standards.
Register with the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent.
