About The Position

Gordon Food Service is hiring a CDL A Delivery Truck Driver in York, Pennsylvania. Drivers deliver food products to customers including restaurants, schools, hospitals, and universities, while building customer relationships. The position offers local routes and day shifts, with drivers home every day. Drivers unload cases weighing up to 100 pounds and use a ramp and two-wheeler during their shifts. Newly licensed drivers are encouraged to apply. The schedule is five days per week between Monday and Saturday, with start times between 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. and work continuing until the route is finished. Pay is a guaranteed minimum of $1,200–$1,500 weekly, with daily base pay plus component pay for each mile driven, stop made, and case delivered. The role includes weekly pay and benefits beginning on the first day.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Hold a Class A CDL at hire.
Be able to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds.
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test, including testing for marijuana, and a background check.
Have a clean driving record meeting DOT and Gordon Food Service standards.
Be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent.
