About The Position

Sysco Asian Foods is hiring dependable local CDL A Delivery Truck Drivers to safely operate a tractor-trailer and manually unload and deliver products—including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies—to customers on assigned routes. Drivers build relationships with customers through a positive, friendly attitude and learn their operations to help meet their needs and expectations. The position offers a four-day work week. Drivers must be available for a set schedule Monday through Saturday, with Saturday always a return day, and must stay overnight once per week. Asian Foods covers overnight expenses and hotels. Drivers may earn up to $110,000 per year, including incentive pay. A sign-on bonus is offered to new hires: $10,000 for drivers with at least one year of experience and $5,000 for those with less than one year. Relocation assistance is available subject to restrictions. Most drivers have daily routes and are home nightly.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Pass employment testing.
Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) and have a driving record meeting company insurability standards.
Be able to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records.
Be able to handle touch freight, including repeatedly lifting, pushing, or moving products averaging 40–60 pounds and weighing as much as 100 pounds.
Be available for the set schedule Monday through Saturday, including one overnight stay per week.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer.

Work the assigned schedule, including a weekly overnight stay and Saturday return day.
