About The Position

A. Duie Pyle is hiring an experienced, motivated, full-time CDL-A Dedicated Truck Driver in York, Pennsylvania. The driver operates a day-cab tractor pulling a 53-foot van trailer carrying non-hazardous freight. The route schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, with a 1:00 a.m. start and an average shift of eight hours; drivers are home daily. Pay is a flat rate of $295.24 for weekday runs and $315.75 for weekend runs, paid weekly on Fridays by direct deposit. Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
At least one year of recent tractor-trailer experience.
Currently hold, or obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
At least 21 years of age.
No more than three moving violations and/or accidents within the last three years, subject to review.
Ability to communicate effectively and read, write, and speak English.
Ability to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance.

Responsibilities

Complete deliveries to locations listed on the daily manifest and pick up potential returns as needed.
Ensure the security and safety of the tractor and freight, while complying with DOT regulations and guidelines.
Build relationships through excellent communication with customers and account managers.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
