About The Position

Drive dedicated local or regional routes for NFI. Local routes offer daily home time and primarily drop-and-hook freight. Regional routes offer weekly home time with two consecutive days off and no-touch, drop-and-hook freight. Drivers operate late-model equipment equipped with advanced safety technology and may earn safety, inspection, and referral bonuses. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Hold a current Class A CDL from your state of residence.
Have at least 1 year of relevant tractor-trailer experience.
Provide acceptable verification of work history from past employers.
Meet all applicable DOT qualifications.
Be physically capable of performing job duties, including frequent moving, standing, walking, and sitting; frequent use of hands to touch, handle, and feel; and reaching with hands and arms.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg.
Be legally able to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

Perform all duties safely and responsibly.
Follow applicable federal and state laws and regulations, as well as customer rules, standards, and guidelines.
Report equipment problems, accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during, and after routes.
Legally and safely operate a motor vehicle, including frequently entering and exiting the vehicle and rear cargo area.
Complete routes, pickups, and deliveries according to customer requirements.
