About The Position

Drive dedicated refrigerated freight routes for NFI, with local and regional opportunities. Routes have varying home-time schedules and minimal unload time. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Hold a current Class A CDL from your state of residence.
• Have at least one year of Class A tractor-trailer experience.
• Provide acceptable references from past employers.
• Meet all applicable DOT qualifications.
• Be physically capable of performing job duties, including frequent movement, standing, walking, sitting, handling objects, and reaching with hands and arms.
• Regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg and occasionally lift or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg.
• Be legally able to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties safely and responsibly.
• Follow applicable federal and state laws and regulations, as well as customer rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Report equipment problems, accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during, and after routes.
• Safely and frequently enter and exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.
• Perform routes, pickups, and deliveries according to customer requirements.
