About The Position
Drive a dedicated regional retail account hauling freight for FAMILY DOLLAR across Texas and surrounding states. Drivers average 1,600 miles per week and approximately 2–3 loads per week, with 2–6 stops per load. About 75% of deliveries are in Texas; remaining routes may include Kansas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. This active-driving position includes unloading freight using rollers and making multi-stop deliveries. The position is solo, with weekly home time for a 34-hour rest period. Average annual pay is $96,580, average weekly pay is $1,900, and pay includes mileage pay plus load pay. Top annual pay is $125,939 and top weekly pay is $2,450.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- No SAP drivers.
- Ability to unload freight using rollers and handle multi-stop deliveries.
