Catholic Nursery Caregiver
About The Position
Regina Caeli Academy is seeking part-time Nursery Caregivers for its classical and Catholic classroom in Nashville, Tennessee. The position is 14 hours per week during the 2026–27 academic year, with work on Mondays and Thursdays from 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. The role is hourly, and childcare/nursery care is provided. Applicants do not need teaching certification or formal teaching experience; training is provided. The position requires a deep love of the Catholic faith, the ability to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church, and a commitment to living the faith day to day, including having received the sacraments appropriate to one’s state in life. Staff must complete a clear background check and RCA Safe Child training before working at the academy. Applicants must be able to lift at least 30 pounds frequently and stand and walk for extended periods during the workday. No additional vacation days are provided beyond the academy’s listed vacation and holy days; accommodations for sick days are made as needed.
Requirements

Nice To Haves
- Experience homeschooling or working with homeschool children.
- Experience in ministry in a Catholic parish.
- Experience teaching Religious Education or Catechism classes.
- Experience teaching one’s own children.
- Experience teaching in a classical or private school, although this is not required.
- Strong communication skills, good organization, and timeliness.
- A traditional view of the student/teacher relationship.
Responsibilities

- Prepare for classes at home and arrive prepared to work in a highly structured environment.
- Follow Regina Caeli Academy standards and complete required training.
