About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy is seeking part-time Nursery Caregivers to assist in a classical and Catholic classroom at its center in Nashville, Tennessee, during the 2026–27 academic year. The position is hourly and involves 14 hours per week, on Mondays and Thursdays from 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Childcare/nursery is provided. No teaching certification or formal teaching experience is required; training and guidance are provided. Applicants must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church, have a deep love for the Catholic faith, and be living the faith day-to-day, including having received the sacraments appropriate to their state in life. All employees must pass a clear background check and complete RCA Safe Child training before working at the academy. No additional vacation days are provided, though accommodations may be made for sick days as needed.

Requirements

• Able to lift at least 30 pounds frequently.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and have a deep love for the Catholic faith.
• Living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all sacraments appropriate to one's state in life.
• Strong communication skills, good organization, and timeliness.
• A traditional view of the student/teacher relationship.
• Pass a clear background check and complete RCA Safe Child training.

Nice To Haves

• Experience homeschooling or working with homeschool children.
• Experience in Catholic parish ministry or teaching Religious Education or Catechism classes.
• Experience teaching one's own children or teaching in a classical or private school.

Responsibilities

• Assist in a classical and Catholic classroom by providing nursery care.
• Prepare for classes at home and arrive prepared to work in a highly structured environment.
