Requirements

  • 3+ years of catering sales, hospitality sales, or event management experience
  • Experience managing client relationships and coordinating large-scale events
  • Knowledge of catering operations, banquet service, and hospitality standards
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and event management software
  • Ability to develop proposals, contracts, and event documentation
  • Strong understanding of food and beverage operations and event logistics
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and venue stakeholders
  • Generate catering sales opportunities through prospecting and client outreach
  • Coordinate event details including menus, timelines, room setups, and staffing needs
  • Prepare catering proposals, contracts, and event orders for clients
  • Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to execute successful events
  • Conduct venue tours and client meetings to promote catering services
  • Monitor event execution to ensure guest satisfaction and service excellence
  • Maintain accurate sales records, forecasting reports, and client communications
  • Support revenue goals through upselling and strategic sales initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and service expectations
