About The Position

The Catering Prep Cook/Dishwasher at LifeCare Alliance supports a busy catering kitchen. This hybrid position combines basic food preparation with dishwashing, sanitation, and general kitchen support to help ensure smooth and efficient operations during catering events.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Experience maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen duties, including lifting and carrying supplies and equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Food handler certification.
• Previous kitchen, food preparation, or dishwashing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation, including washing and cutting produce, portioning ingredients, and preparing items for catering events.
• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, trays, and other kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a safe and healthy kitchen environment.
• Stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen duties, including lifting and carrying supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and assist with other duties as needed to support kitchen operations and successful catering events.
