CATERING ATTENDANT (FULL AND PART TIME)
About The Position
Morrison Healthcare is hiring full-time and part-time Catering Attendants at Piedmont Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. The role delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain and ensures events are accurately executed during the shift. Duties include preparing and transporting food and supplies, setting up and serving at events, cleaning event areas, returning leftover food and equipment, and maintaining the catering facility. The position may involve driving a catering delivery truck. The fixed pay rate is $15.00 per hour. Days may vary, with morning and afternoon shifts; weekend availability is required. Previous customer service experience is required.
Requirements
- Previous customer service experience is required.
- A valid driver's license may be required.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by state law.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and deliver food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations.
- Log and maintain food temperatures.
- Arrange tables and decorations.
- Set up buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items according to standards.
- Serve food and beverages to guests.
- Clean the location thoroughly after events.
- Return food, beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
- Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions.
- Stock, clean, and maintain the catering facility and equipment.
- Provide friendly and courteous service to guests.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the complete menu and available products.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
