About The Position

Eurest is hiring Catering Assistants and Kitchenhands at its Richlands site. The role supports workplace catering by providing welcoming food and beverage service, maintaining clean and organised service areas, and upholding food safety, hygiene, and allergen standards. Kitchenhand duties include maintaining a clean workstation and responding promptly to requests. The position offers regular Monday to Friday hours from 7:00am to 3:00pm, with full-time and part-time availability.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a busy catering or food service environment.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, including HACCP.
• Commitment to maintaining high hygiene and quality standards.
• Friendly, approachable, and confident when engaging with customers.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced, dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food and beverage service and provide a friendly, welcoming customer experience.
• Engage with customers and provide seamless support in a positive, professional manner.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards, including accurately recording temperatures and allergen information.
• Support daily cleaning routines and keep service areas organised and ready for service.
• Maintain cleanliness to standards set by the head chef.
• Manage the workstation and maintain a high standard of hygiene.
• Maintain knowledge of food safety and allergen awareness.
• Respond to requests promptly and efficiently.
