About The Position

Join Washington County Behavioral Health & Developmental Services as a Children and Adolescent Service System Program (CASSP) Coordinator to play a key role in our mission of uplifting children and families throughout the county. Requirements

  • Two years of professional level experience in the field of mental health; and a bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • You must meet the PA residency requirement.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
  • You must pass a background investigation.
  • A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.
  • This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
  • Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Examine incoming referrals to determine suitability for CASSP
  • Lead meetings that bring together service partners to develop cooperative plans for youth
  • Help create service plans that match the needs of children involved in multiple systems
  • Maintain working relationships across the county to promote shared decision making and joint planning
  • Provide technical assistance to providers and interpret policies and procedures related to service coordination
  • Support committees and groups that meet to strengthen county service planning efforts
