Requirements

• Graduation from high school; or Any equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Must meet the PA residency requirement.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions.
• A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening.
• This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law. Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist caseworkers with managing caseload and documenting information in the case management system
• Provide guidance to families on daily living tasks such as home care, hygiene, nutrition, and parenting skills
• Oversee family visitations and support children during supervised interactions
• Transport consumers to supervised visits and required appointments when needed
• Attend CAC interviews, participate in meetings, prepare written reports, and testify in court if required
• Perform office duties including completing forms and organizing case related materials
