This is a position for a caring and responsible person who will make a difference by providing services to families with children in all areas including parent education, nutrition, life skills, etc. Assists and educates in all phases of the family's life. Requirements

  • Graduation from high school; or Any equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Meet the PA residency requirement.
  • Be able to perform essential job functions.
  • Pass a background investigation.
  • Pass a drug screening.
  • Satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Possible travel requiring overnight stays.
  • Possible after-hour appointments for supervised visitation and transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor children during visits, appointments, court events, and approved activities
  • Assist with admission, placement, and discharge steps for children in agency care
  • Accompany caseworkers and report observations on child and family functioning
  • Maintain required medical, dental, vision, immunization, and related records
  • Transport youth to visits, appointments, school, work, and authorized activities
  • Help youth with daily living tasks, life skills, and group activities
