About The Position
At Love’s, the Casino Cashier handles cash transactions, assists guests with payouts, and maintains an accurate and secure cash drawer. The role provides excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with gaming and cash handling policies. The Casino Cashier also helps maintain a clean and welcoming casino environment. The position is performed on-site with a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. It requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds for extended periods, as well as meeting applicable state and federal requirements for gaming and alcohol service.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to follow policies and procedures, especially regarding cash and compliance.
- Ability to work on-site with a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds for extended periods.
- Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for gaming and alcohol service.
Responsibilities
- Process customer payouts, cash handling, and machine reimbursements accurately.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer and follow all company cash handling procedures.
- Verify customer age and ensure compliance with gaming regulations.
- Provide friendly and efficient service to all guests.
- Monitor the casino floor and report suspicious activity or malfunctions.
- Keep the cashier station and surrounding area clean, organized, and stocked.
