About The Position

The Cage Cashier handles money, casino chips, and paperwork and performs customer transactions and cash-control duties. The role also issues player cards and related benefits, answers customers’ casino and marketing questions, and follows company procedures and applicable gaming and federal regulations, including Title 31 compliance. The position may include other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification.
Must complete all required company training.

Nice To Haves

Previous cashier or banking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Complete transactions and receive gaming vouchers from guests and authorized employees; exchange tokens and balance drawers at the end of the shift.
Receive personal checks from patrons for gaming purposes in exchange for cash, subject to the limitations under § 465a.20.
Prepare jackpot payout slips in accordance with applicable Board regulations and technical standards under § 465a.26.
Use Cage computer applications for markers, front money, safekeeping, Cage reporting, credit activities, and self-exclusion or exclusion searches.
Issue, receive, and reconcile imprest funds used by slot attendants, including imprest change and pouch payout funds.
Accurately count and record assigned funds, exchange funds throughout the shift, keep the cash drawer balanced and impressed, and secure casino funds when not in use.
Issue player cards for new and existing accounts and provide associated benefits and marketing perks, such as free play.
Provide customers with casino- and marketing-related information and answer their questions.
Comply with company standard operating procedures, gaming regulations, and federal regulations, including Title 31 compliance.
Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.
