About The Position

The Casino Cage Supervisor is responsible for supervising the activities of Cage Operations within the Casino department. This role requires adherence to The Greenbrier Resort’s policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and managing inventories of currency, coin, gaming chips, plaques, and slot tokens. The supervisor will also train, appraise, and supervise all Cage Operations personnel, while promoting positive public and employee relations. Additionally, the role involves performing other related duties as assigned, acting as a role model for 5-star service, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years cash handling experience
• Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years supervisory experience
• Minimum cash drawer handling of $2500
• Cash drawer reconciliation experience required.
• Must maintain a State Casino Key Employee license
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide by fractions, whole numbers and decimals
• Ability to calculate interest, commission and percentages
• Must possess verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a busy and hectic environment.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred one (1) to three (3) years of casino cage or banking experience
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervises activities of Cage Operations and ensures adherence to The Greenbrier Resort’s policies and procedures.
• Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements of Cage Operations.
• Manages inventories of currency, coin, gaming chips, plaques, slot tokens, and all related forms and records.
• Trains, appraises, and supervises all Cage Operations personnel.
• Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
• Acts as a role model for all employees and provides 5-star service.
• Maintains a clean, safe hazard-free work environment within the area of responsibility.
