Cage Supervisor
About The Position
Under the supervision of the Cage Shift Manager, the Cage Supervisor, personally or through subordinates, is responsible for the direct operation of the gaming cage and main bank cashiering functions. The role provides excellent customer service to employees and vendors and must be performed in accordance with Horseshoe Indianapolis Racing & Casino policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards, and Indiana Gaming Regulations. The position has access to specified sensitive keys and requires access to the gaming floor. Horseshoe Indianapolis Racing & Casino is a smoking establishment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of casino cage, banking, and/or cashiering experience.
- At least one year of supervisory experience.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be able to obtain an Indiana Gaming License.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check.
- Must be able to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
- Must be able to frequently stand, walk, stoop, bend, reach, climb steps, and sit.
Responsibilities
- Directly operate the gaming cage and main bank cashiering functions, personally or through subordinates.
- Provide excellent customer service to employees and vendors in all situations.
- Perform duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards, and Indiana Gaming Regulations.
