About The Position

Delaware North Gaming is seeking a full-time Cage Supervisor to oversee all areas of the cage and vault at Wheeling Island Casino in Wheeling, West Virginia. The supervisor ensures state, federal, and Delaware North guidelines and procedures are followed. Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack is a regional gaming destination featuring electronic gaming machines, table games, live greyhound racing, simulcast wagering, a hotel, dining options, and a showroom.

Requirements

At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a gaming role.
Ability to handle large money transactions accurately and reconcile a vault.
Superior communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead in a results-oriented, high-volume environment.
Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Ability to obtain and maintain a state gaming license.
No college degree required.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the team, plan and schedule work assignments, and support performance development.
Participate in selecting and training new team members, ensuring they understand applicable laws and procedures.
Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues.
Assist with preparing daily and weekly reports.
Monitor inventory supplies for cage operations.
Maintain an accurate cash bank and balance money at the end of each shift; investigate variances and report them when applicable.
Monitor ticket redemption machines and schedule maintenance as needed.
Maintain supervisor bank transactions daily when necessary.
