About The Position
Delaware North Gaming is seeking a Casino Host for Wheeling Island Casino in Wheeling, West Virginia. The Casino Host develops connections with guests, identifies and engages high-value players, and keeps assigned guests informed about events, activities, programs, and VIP benefits. The role also generates guest visits, coordinates accommodations and reservations, and creates special events and promotions to recognize and reward players. The host gathers player feedback and shares it with leadership to help improve programs. Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack is a Delaware North-owned-and-operated regional gaming destination featuring 1,300 electronic gaming machines, 22 table games, live greyhound racing, simulcast wagering, a 151-room hotel, dining options, and a 1,000-seat showroom.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in a customer service or sales position.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Able to obtain and maintain a state gaming license.
- Knowledge of various games and their rules, with the ability to discuss them comfortably.

- One year of experience as a Casino Host or in a similar role.
Responsibilities
- Network with known players to identify and contact high-value guests by phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Establish and maintain relationships with assigned guests and keep them informed of events, activities, programs, and benefits available to VIP casino guests.
- Make outgoing calls to generate trips and book accommodations, special events, hotels, restaurant reservations, and other amenities.
- Create and manage player parties, marketing promotions, and other activities to reward and recognize new and loyal players.
- Survey players to determine their needs and share feedback with leadership for continuous program improvement.
