About The Position

The Cashier provides customer service to people entering and leaving the retail store. The role handles customer questions and transactions, cash, merchandise pricing and stocking, and customer returns. The schedule varies and may require occasional night or weekend coverage. The work takes place in a retail store, including cold and warm conditions, with an irregular work schedule.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Frequent bending and twisting.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering the retail store and assist with customer service questions.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and handle them appropriately.
• Process customer transactions using the KCX cash register system.
• Handle cash accurately.
• Price store merchandise as requested by store management.
• Stock merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
• Handle customer returns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
