Cashier (Part-Time) - Bismarck, ND
About The Position
The Cashier interacts with customers as they enter and leave the retail store, with the primary function of providing excellent customer service. The position reports directly to the Store Manager and has no direct supervisory authority. Hours vary, and occasional night or weekend coverage may be needed. The hourly pay range is $13.00–$16.00, depending on experience. The work takes place in a retail store environment with cold and warm conditions and an irregular work schedule. The role involves frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds, long periods of standing, and frequent bending and twisting. Responsibilities
- Greet customers entering the retail store and assist with customer service questions.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and handle them appropriately.
- Handle customer transactions using the KCX cash register system.
- Handle cash accurately.
- Price store merchandise as requested by store management.
- Stock merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
- Handle customer returns.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
