About The Position

The Cashier provides “World Class” member service by surprising and delighting members and making customer care and selling the top priorities. The role processes register transactions and forms of tender, provides food service according to industry food standards, and demonstrates knowledge of products, services, and proper food-handling procedures. The Cashier helps train restaurant associates using the Tell, Show, Watch, and Support process and supports completion of compliance training. The role also helps prepare the restaurant for opening, monitors supplies, maintains clean and efficient work areas and equipment, and ensures customer call-in orders are recorded accurately and prepared on time. The position may perform other assigned duties and requires the ability to be cross-trained.

Requirements

Strong verbal and mathematics skills.
Ability to lift and move merchandise, typically a minimum of 20 pounds and potentially up to 100 pounds.
Ability to perform repetitive standing, walking, bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching.
Retail experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide “World Class” member service and prioritize customer care and selling.
Process register transactions and forms of tender.
Assist with training restaurant associates using the Tell, Show, Watch, and Support process, and ensure department associates complete compliance training.
Provide food service according to industry food standards and follow proper food-handling procedures.
Maintain a clean and efficient work area.
Turn on machines before the store opens and ensure they are functioning properly.
Check supplies regularly and alert the Restaurant Lead when orders are needed.
Follow corporate guidelines for Merchandise Claims and Control (MC&C), Known-Loss Merchandise, and Open/Empty Packages.
Replenish soda and ice machines as needed and clean them continually.
Ensure the proper amount of dough is prepared before the store opens to avoid making more during peak hours.
Keep accurate records of customer call-in orders and ensure they are prepared in a timely manner.
Perform other duties as assigned and be available for cross-training.
