About The Position

CC Holdings is hiring friendly, motivated, and detail-oriented cashiers for its Au Bon Pain Café located in Methodist Hospital. This is a fast-paced café role involving customer service, cash handling, food preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. Full-time and part-time positions are available. Shifts operate seven days a week between 5 AM and 11 PM and vary; flexibility is required. The position pays up to $16.00 per hour. Applicants must be fully vaccinated and provide documentation, or have a medical or religious exemption.

Responsibilities

Balance the cash drawer, make change, enter purchases, and follow cash-handling procedures.
Record orders correctly, receive and give change, and count the drawer to support financial accountability.
Thank customers, invite them to return, and inform them about products, promotions, and other services through suggestive selling.
Set up the station according to café guidelines and prepare food items as directed, following portion and presentation specifications.
Restock items as needed and maintain the station using safe, sanitary, and organized practices.
Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
Maintain food quality and safety, including cleaning floors and surfaces and covering and storing food according to standards and procedures.
Use and maintain station equipment properly.
Work at an efficient and consistent pace and assist with other tasks when asked.
Act as a role model with customers and staff and help provide on-the-job training for new baristas and cashiers.
Work collaboratively with the team to support operations, standards, and the café's concept.
Arrive in proper uniform and follow grooming standards.
