About The Position
Coury Hospitality has an amazing opportunity as a TEMPORARY Cashier at MaryJane's Diner, located within the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego. This role is on-site and can be either full-time or part-time, specifically for the July Comic-Con event. As a Temporary Cashier, you will be responsible for ensuring guests have a great last impression by smoothly handling payments, providing friendly service, and contributing to the efficient operation of the fast-casual area.
Requirements
- Cashier or front-of-house experience in a fast-paced setting
- Detail-oriented and confident with POS systems
- Maintain a warm demeanor and professional tone under pressure
- Can multitask and stay focused in a busy environment
- Have open availability for shifts, especially peak times
Responsibilities
- Accurately process transactions, handle cash, and balance drawers
- Package to-go orders and confirm accuracy with guests
- Keep your area stocked, clean, and guest-ready
- Provide warm, attentive service at every interaction
- Assist with light prep or stocking tasks during slow periods
