Coury Hospitality has an amazing opportunity as a TEMPORARY Server. MaryJane’s Diner at the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego is looking for a Temporary Server to join their team. This role is on-site, full-time & part-time, and specifically for the July Comic-Con event. At MaryJane’s, we serve more than food — we deliver unforgettable dining moments in the heart of San Diego’s iconic Gaslamp Quarter. As a Temporary Server, you’ll create a VIP experience for every guest with exceptional service, confidence, and charm.

Requirements

• 1+ year of upscale or high-volume restaurant experience
• Possess excellent knowledge of food, beverage, and allergy protocol
• Thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
• Are flexible, upbeat, and guest-obsessed
• Have availability including weekends, nights, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-touch, timely table service with energy and professionalism
• Upsell menu items and drinks with confidence and authenticity
• Read your guests and personalize the experience
• Maintain a polished section with attention to cleanliness and flow
• Communicate with back-of-house and bar for seamless coordination
