Weekend Cashier 1pm-6:30pm & 4:30pm-10:15pm
About The Position
The Cashier is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The role follows operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards and may include cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position includes accurately processing purchases and returns, promoting credit and loyalty programs, supporting merchandising and sales-floor recovery, and contributing to store cleanliness, safety, and shrink-reduction goals. Associates are expected to support a positive store culture, work effectively with peers and supervisors, and follow applicable labor laws, policies, and procedures. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities
- Role-model customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and help maintain the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
