Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Central Service or Instrument Tech certification/program OR Surgical Tech program graduate OR 5+ years of hands-on instrument tech experience in the Operating Room.
- Knowledge of sterilizer equipment and processes.
- Computer proficiency for data entry.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of SPD experience.
- Experience at TMC.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning, decontaminating, and sterilizing surgical instruments.
- Preparing and packing surgical case carts.
- Receiving, storing, and distributing supplies and equipment.
- Data entry and inventory control.
- Assisting in any area of SPD as needed.
