About The Position
As the Cashier at Angry Chickz, you are the first point of contact for customers and help shape their dining experience by welcoming them, guiding them through the menu, and ensuring swift, accurate transactions. The role also involves coordinating orders and customer needs with the kitchen and FOH team, maintaining the front counter, and preparing to-go orders. The employee must wear an Angry Chickz uniform and safety-department-required non-slip shoes. They must be able to speak clearly, comprehend directions, and read in English. Spanish reading and speaking ability is helpful but not required.
Requirements

- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends.
- Ability to speak clearly, comprehend directions, and read English.
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Repetitive hand use.
- Wear the Angry Chickz uniform and non-slip shoes required by the safety department.
Nice To Haves
- Prior cashier or customer service experience.
- Ability to read and speak Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Warmly greet customers and provide menu details or promotional information.
- Accurately take orders and communicate special requests or dietary needs to the kitchen team.
- Handle cash and card transactions, account for cash, and balance registers at the end of the shift.
- Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front counter area.
- Collaborate with the FOH team to support seamless operations and a positive customer experience.
- Bag and wrap to-go orders.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
