About The Position

As an Assistant Restaurant Leader at Angry Chickz, you work closely with the General Manager to help ensure the restaurant operates smoothly and provides exceptional dining experiences. The role involves leading team members, maintaining operational standards, contributing to sales and profitability, supporting training and development, and promoting the Angry Chickz culture. This is a hands-on position that includes food preparation, customer interactions, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

The position requires the ability to perform the essential duties, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities. The role may involve day, evening, and weekend shifts, and some travel if needed. Employees must wear the Angry Chickz uniform and safety-department-required non-slip shoes. The physical environment includes exposure to cold, heat, moisture, dust, fumes, and cleaning chemicals.

Requirements

• Experience managing restaurants.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to speak clearly, comprehend directions in English, and read English.
• Ability and willingness to solve problems individually and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, including the ability to adapt when things change.
• Self-motivated, flexible, energetic, and effective in speaking, writing, and listening.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Able to identify problems, set goals, create plans, and execute them.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new technology.
• Professional conduct inside and outside the restaurant.
• Able to work day, evening, and weekend shifts, and travel if needed.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods, bend and twist at the waist, and occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Able to use hands repetitively to grasp food-preparation tools and utensils, and reach at varying heights.
• Able to work around extreme cold, extreme heat, moisture, dust, fumes, and cleaning chemicals.
• Must wear the Angry Chickz uniform and safety-department-required non-slip shoes.
