About The Position

As a Cashier at Angry Chickz, you are the first point of contact for customers and play an important role in shaping their dining experience. You welcome customers, help them navigate the menu, and ensure transactions are swift and accurate. You also support front-counter cleanliness and organization and work with the front-of-house team to help provide a positive customer experience.

The role requires wearing the Angry Chickz uniform and safety-department-approved non-slip shoes. Candidates must be able to speak clearly, understand directions in English, and read English. Spanish reading or speaking ability is helpful but not required. The position may require occasional lifting and carrying of up to 40 pounds and repetitive hand use.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet customers and provide menu details or promotional information.
• Accurately take orders and communicate special requests or dietary needs to the kitchen team.
• Handle cash and card transactions, account for cash, and balance registers at the end of the shift.
• Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front counter area.
• Collaborate with the front-of-house team to support smooth operations and a positive customer experience.
• Bag and wrap to-go orders.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
