About The Position

The Cashier processes customer transactions for goods and services while providing superior customer service. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Company Orientation is required.
• Must know how to identify produce.
• Basic mathematical skills are required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Good problem-solving skills are required.
• Ability to maintain high productivity and efficiency standards.
• Produce certification is required.
• Alcohol Seller’s Training is required.
• Checker training is required.
• Basics of Safety is required.
• Ability to lift moderately heavy loads.
• Ability to bend, kneel, reach, push, and pull.
• Ability to stand for a maximum of 3 hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service and interact with customers.
• Collect payment for customer purchases.
• Demonstrate suggestive selling techniques.
• Bag groceries for customers.
• Monitor and manage potential front-end shrink.
• Make change and maintain an accurate till.
• Answer customers’ product-related questions.
• Meet company food safety and sanitation expectations by following SOPs.
