About The Position

Central Market is seeking a Production Representative for its Kitchen Packaging Production team at the Austin Westgate location. Assignments vary depending on the store department. The role involves preparing, packaging, and stocking products while maintaining product quality, sanitation, and organization. The position includes customer service and sales activities, and requires availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with the ability to work overnight and flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

Mix, shape, bake, wrap, and stock products.
Ensure product quality before products are sent to the sales floor.
Maintain sanitation in the department.
Keep back storage, freezer, walk-in, and production areas organized.
Read and execute the daily production list.
Provide customer service, including answering questions and taking phone orders.
Assist in monitoring the quality of goods and monitor shrink.
Order and receive products and supplies.
Maintain transfer records.
Continuously prepare, wrap, price, sell, and stock products.
Demonstrate products or prepare customer samples for self-service.
Provide customer service and use suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales.
