About The Position

The Cashier provides prompt, efficient, and professional food and beverage service at Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando. The role uses a POS terminal to collect payments or apply charges to credit cards and guest accounts, while maintaining knowledge of cash handling, inventory, and food preparation procedures. The cashier stays informed about menu offerings and attends to guests throughout service, anticipating needs and responding to requests to help ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

Basic math and computer skills.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Strong organizational skills.

Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally with team members, leaders, and guests.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Nice To Haves

Prior cashier experience.
Knowledge of and experience in food preparation.
Proven experience working in high-volume Food and Beverage operations.

Responsibilities

Collect monies due or apply charges to a credit card or guest account using a POS terminal.
Provide prompt, efficient, and professional food and beverage service, using knowledge of cash handling, inventory, and food preparation procedures.
Maintain current knowledge of menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, presentation, appearance, and preparation time.
Monitor guests, anticipate their needs, respond to requests, and ensure satisfaction.
