About The Position

Rebel Convenience Stores is hiring a Cashier, also described as a Customer Service Associate, to provide friendly, efficient customer service in a fast-paced convenience store. The cashier is the face of the store and helps keep it clean, stocked, safe, and operating smoothly. The role includes operating a modern POS system, assisting customers with store and fuel-related needs, and completing training and shift duties.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work alone or with minimal supervision.
Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
Comfortable standing for up to 8 hours.
Able to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs and climb ladders.
Willing to work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
Basic math and computer skills.
Authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service.
Ring up sales using the POS system, including lottery, fuel, and prepaid card transactions.
Upsell promotions and help customers find what they need.
Maintain a clean and organized store environment, inside and out.
Operate and maintain coffee, fountain drink, and hot food machines.
Restock and rotate merchandise using the FIFO method.
Follow safety and loss prevention procedures.
Help customers with the pump, car wash, or air hose as needed.
Accurately handle cash, credit cards, and safe deposits.
Follow age-restricted sale laws for alcohol, tobacco, and lottery.
Complete all required training and shift duties.
