About The Position
The Cashier provides friendly, efficient customer service at the register by ringing sales, handling payments, bagging merchandise, and thanking customers. The role also supports store operations by stocking and organizing the sales floor, maintaining clean and safe shopping and work areas, greeting donors, accepting donations, issuing receipts, and assisting with donation door, sorting, and hanger tasks. The position is part-time and based in Huntersville. Goodwill states that the role starts at $15 per hour and offers annual raises and production bonuses. Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, efficient customer service at the register by ringing sales, handling payments, bagging merchandise, and thanking customers.
- Keep the sales floor stocked and organized by moving clothing from the backroom, merchandising clothing by type and color, and keeping racks tidy and rotated.
- Maintain clean and safe shopping areas, including dressing rooms and work areas.
- Greet donors, accept donations, and issue receipts.
- Support donation door operations and perform sorting and hanger tasks as needed.
- Report safety, security, or theft concerns to store management.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team.
