About The Position

As an Apparel Hanger at Goodwill, you will help support job creation and community programs by preparing clothing for sale. You will hang pre-sorted clothing, organize items using the color tag system, and keep sales-floor displays neat. The role involves meeting daily production quotas, accurately tracking processed items, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and assisting with other store tasks as needed. No experience is required; Goodwill offers free training and career development.

• Most of the time, stand, use hands, and reach above and below the shoulders; often pull, twist, and turn; and occasionally talk, walk, push, bend, and stoop.
• Regularly lift up to 10 pounds and sometimes lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong close and depth vision.

Responsibilities

• Hang pre-sorted clothing to meet daily production quotas.
• Group and rotate clothing correctly using the color tag system.
• Move clothing to and from the sales floor while keeping displays neat and organized.
• Accurately count and report items processed each day.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area by following store procedures.
• Report safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
• Assist as needed with donation processing, sorting, or cashiering.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by store management.
