About The Position

At Goodwill, each item hung, sorted, or displayed supports job creation and community programs. The Apparel Hanger contributes to daily store operations by hanging and organizing clothing, maintaining sales-floor displays, accurately tracking processed items, and supporting other store tasks as needed. No experience is needed. The position requires frequent standing, hand use, and reaching, along with the ability to handle racks and lift items up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Requirements

• No experience required; a strong work ethic and attention to detail are expected.
• Able to work as part of a team and take pride in a clean, organized workspace.
• Physically able to stand, hang clothes, and move racks.
• Reliable, honest, and respectful of others.
• Willing to learn, grow, and contribute to a supportive team environment.
• Able to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong close and depth vision are essential.

Responsibilities

• Hang pre-sorted clothing to meet daily production quotas.
• Group and rotate clothing correctly using the color tag system.
• Move clothing to and from the sales floor while keeping displays neat and organized.
• Accurately count and report items processed each day.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area by following store procedures.
• Report safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
• Assist as needed with donation processing, sorting, or cashiering.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by store management.
