About The Position

The Apparel Hanger supports Goodwill’s retail operations by preparing and displaying clothing while contributing to the organization’s job-creation and community programs. The role involves hanging pre-sorted clothing to meet daily production quotas, organizing garments using a color tag system, and keeping sales-floor displays neat. Team members may also assist with donation processing, sorting, and cashiering as needed. The work is active and requires standing, reaching, handling clothing and racks, and lifting items.

Requirements

• No experience is needed.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a team and take pride in a clean, organized workspace.
• Physically able to stand, hang clothes, and move racks.
• Reliable, honest, and respectful of others.
• Willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to a supportive team environment.
• Able to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and sometimes up to 50 pounds.
• Strong close and depth vision.

Responsibilities

• Hang pre-sorted clothing to meet daily production quotas.
• Group and rotate clothing correctly using the color tag system.
• Move clothing to and from the sales floor and keep displays neat and organized.
• Accurately count and report items processed each day.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area by following store procedures.
• Report safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
• Assist with donation processing, sorting, or cashiering as needed.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by store management.
