About The Position

The Cashier at Big Buns welcomes guests and provides a smooth, efficient ordering experience. The role involves greeting guests, providing menu information, answering questions, accurately processing orders and payments, and maintaining a clean, organized cashier station. The Cashier works with kitchen and service team members to support timely and accurate order delivery while following food safety and quality procedures. The position is suited to someone who enjoys customer interaction and can work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Requirements

Excellent customer service and strong interpersonal skills; be friendly, patient, and able to communicate effectively with customers.
Accuracy when processing transactions, handling cash, and recording sales, with strong attention to detail.
Familiarity with cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems, counting money, providing correct change, and operating relevant equipment.
Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly mobile environment.
