Bartender - Big Buns
About The Position
As a Bartender at Big Buns, you will prepare drinks and provide excellent customer service in a welcoming, lively restaurant environment. You will create cocktails and other drinks that complement the menu, connect with guests, and share knowledge of the drink menu. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized bar, following food and beverage safety standards, and working with teammates to keep operations running smoothly. Big Buns emphasizes quality ingredients, teamwork, exceptional service, and creating memorable guest experiences. The position requires at least six months of experience, the ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and some holidays, and the physical ability to perform bar duties in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of experience.
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Must be of legal age to prepare, serve, and ring alcoholic beverages.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and some holidays.
- Certified in, or able to become certified in, responsible alcohol service as required by state or local law.
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, in the primary language of the work location.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
- Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive arm and hand movements.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 30–40 pounds.
- Manual dexterity to pour, mix, garnish, and handle glassware safely.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Tolerance for exposure to noise, crowded spaces, and varying temperatures.
- Ability to multitask efficiently and respond quickly to customer needs.
