About The Position

The Cashier Team Member helps The Fresh Market deliver its mission of making everyday eating extraordinary for guests. Team members may work in any store department, including Deli, Meat & Seafood, Bakery, Grocery, Produce & Floral, and Front-End. The role focuses on providing excellent guest service, supporting guests with meal solutions, maintaining product knowledge, merchandising and stocking products, and helping maintain a hospitable, clean shopping environment. Team members are expected to present themselves professionally and follow uniform standards.

Requirements

• Passion for providing extraordinary service.
• At least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests to understand their wants and needs and help them create meal solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items throughout the store.
• Work across departments to assist guests.
• Create a hospitable shopping experience by merchandising and stocking products and specialty items throughout the day.
• Assist nearby guests while merchandising and stocking.
• Gather shopping carts from the parking lot.
• Assist with general housekeeping duties throughout the store.
• Present professionally and adhere to uniform standards.
