About The Position

The Cashier Team Member helps The Fresh Market deliver extraordinary everyday eating by providing excellent guest service and supporting store operations. Team members may work in any department, including Deli, Meat & Seafood, Bakery, Grocery, Produce & Floral, and Front-End. The role includes helping guests find meal solutions, maintaining product knowledge, merchandising and stocking items, collecting shopping carts, and assisting with housekeeping. Team members are expected to present themselves professionally and follow uniform standards.

Requirements

• Have a passion for providing extraordinary service.
• Be at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests to learn their wants and needs and help them create meal solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items throughout the store.
• Work across departments to assist guests.
• Merchandise and stock products and specialty items throughout the day.
• Assist nearby guests while merchandising and stocking.
• Gather shopping carts from the parking lot.
• Assist with general housekeeping duties throughout the store.
• Present oneself professionally, including adhering to uniform standards.
