About The Position

The Cashier - Concessions takes and prepares customer orders, operates a computerized cash register, accepts payments, and ensures concession items meet quality and safety standards. The role maintains a clean, sanitary, safe, and properly stocked kiosk, and keeps records of products used and food served under a supervisor’s guidance. The position also assists guests with questions and must effectively check identification for age-restricted items, including alcohol. A valid TN ABC license is required.

Requirements

Neat dress and grooming in accordance with company uniform and appearance policies.
Ability to operate a point-of-sale terminal, make change correctly, and complete credit card transactions.
Ability to respond calmly to angry guests and notify a manager.
Ability to stand for a 6–8 hour shift.
Ability to complete all training steps and knowledge checks.
Ability to read menus to sight-impaired guests and clearly respond to guest requests.
Ability to hear well in a loud environment.
Ability to lift 30 pounds several times per shift.
Ability to effectively card all guests who purchase alcohol.
Valid TN ABC license.

Responsibilities

Take customer orders and assemble them correctly.
Prepare concession foods such as popcorn, hot dogs, pretzels, and nachos according to standard formulas or directions.
Check identification for age-restricted items, including alcoholic beverages.
Accept customer payments using a cash register and enter data into a computerized cash register system.
Check food items to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Keep the assigned area clean, sanitary, and safe.
Answer questions about kiosk locations and item prices.
Maintain kiosk records of products used and food served, under a supervisor’s guidance.
Keep the kiosk properly stocked and restock it at the end of each shift.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed.
Assist other employees with duties as necessary.
