About The Position

Sell concessions to customers at events at the University of New Mexico Athletics facilities. Serve guests efficiently and courteously, process sales and payments, handle cash according to established procedures, and help maintain a clean, safe concession area. The role supports Levy’s hospitality program at UNM Arena (The Pit) and UNM Stadium, contributing to an energetic fan experience. Great training opportunities and a friendly, supportive work environment are offered.

Responsibilities

Sell soft drinks and various food items to customers at events.
Serve customers efficiently and in a friendly manner while following outlined steps of service.
Interact with customers, resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner, and relay relevant information to a supervisor.
Process sales transactions promptly and enter sales accurately into the cash register.
Make change, accept approved forms of payment, and issue receipts.
Follow standard cash-handling procedures and maintain assigned change funds and cash receipts in compliance with overage and shortage standards.
Replenish condiments and general supplies and maintain concession-area cleanliness.
Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
