About The Position

The Seasonal Events Associate supports store events and short-term assignments throughout the year. The role helps deliver a pleasant, productive, and customer-focused shopping experience by understanding customer needs, recommending products, and promoting programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up. Associates help execute seasonal events, facilitate in-house outdoor skills workshops, and participate in scheduled store events. The position operates under general supervision and established procedures, with occasional independent judgment to resolve problems and make recommendations about work practices.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
• Ability to perform data entry and analyze reports and ledgers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates.
• Good customer service skills.
• Ability to function in a noisy, hectic environment with children and parents.
• Ability to stand and/or walk throughout the shift.
• Ability to occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, or ramps.
• Ability to occasionally perform repetitive wrist, hand, or finger motions.
• Ability to occasionally work in low or high temperatures, outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind, and noisy environments.
• Ability to perform light work that may occasionally require lifting or moving objects weighing up to 100 pounds, using a team lift as needed.
