About The Position

GardaWorld provides cash-management services throughout the cash supply chain, including secured transportation, cash management, cash vault processing, forecasting, ATM, and cash recycler services. The company processes, manages, and moves more than $8 billion in cash each day.

The Cash Processing Teller verifies assigned work and inspects deposit bags, processes deposits and resolves out-of-balance conditions, verifies cash settlements, and transfers funds to the appropriate vaults. The role also requires compliance with company policies and applicable state and federal regulations, reporting counterfeit activity and suspicious or potential AML red-flag transactions to a supervisor, meeting productivity standards, identifying process improvements, and working independently.

The schedule is Monday through Friday. The stated pay rate is $16.50 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong data-entry skills and experience.
• Detail-oriented, with basic math skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Cash-handling and balancing experience is highly desired.
• One to two years of teller experience is preferred.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verify assigned work and inspect deposit bags for evidence of tampering.
• Process deposits, including reconciling out-of-balance conditions.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and state and federal regulations.
• Identify counterfeit activity, suspicious activity (SAR), and potential AML red-flag transactions, and immediately report them to a supervisor.
• Meet or exceed established deposit-processing productivity standards.
• Verify cash settlements and transfer funds to appropriate vaults.
• Identify and share process-improvement opportunities.
• Work independently without direct supervision or oversight.
